Wasatch Hollow Community Festival, Friday, July 16
- Festival will be held at Wasatch Hollow Park in conjunction with SLC’s Friday Night Flicks (“Napoleon Dynamite”)
- Caputo’s and Domino’s will be the food vendors; The King’s English will have a booth.
- Principal and secondary sponsors have been identified
- Volunteers and donations are welcome
Wasatch Hollow Community garden
- All raised beds have been rented
- Chickens doing well
Wasatch Hollow Open Space
- SLC Open Space Program’s final public meeting will be held June 22nd at Anderson Foothill Library. This will be the community’s last chance to provide input on the open space utilization alternatives.

7:15 Update on City’s proposed amendments on alcohol-serving businesses
- Changes have been made since January, taking into account community input.
- Citizens are encouraged to write to their SLC City Council members to express opinions on current version of the amendments.
- A WHCC meeting to discuss and vote on the issues was discussed.
7:45 Rate increases for water, sewer, and storm water utilities, Jim Lewis, SLC Public Utilities, CFO
- The city’s infrastructure is aging and in need of improvement.
- The proposed increases are $1.50/mo for water, $.24 for stormwater, and $.49 for wastewater.
