Rowena Bowers Kenyon
Rowena Bowers Kenyon lived in our neighborhood from 1939 to 1991. She is the daughter of Ida Lucille Clark and Louis James Bowers, Jr., builder and owner of Emigration Market. Her father built their home at 1330 Penn Street when she was two years old, then constructed another home and moved the family to 1744 Browning Circle in 1955. Rowena is the mother of a daughter and a son.
